Emma Dale is a full-time parent of four children who achieved her dream of working as a nurse following her decision to study an Access course at Redbridge College.
Emma, who missed out on education in earlier life, worked incredibly hard to achieve her goals.
Emma says: "I chose Redbridge College because it was near to my house and my children's school. I thought the tutors and lectures were brilliant and without them I would not be here now. I stuggled in maths but my teacher, Jenny, always had time to help me.
"I secured a place at London South Bank University and passed all of the exams with flying colours thanks to the knowledge and skills I gained on the Access course. I am now a fully qualified nurse and work in the A&E department of King George Hopsital.
"I absolutely love my job and it fits perfectly around my family life. I would definitely recommend the Access course to anyone that would love to go to university but doesn't have traditional qualifications."
