Money matters
Some courses are free depending on the level of study, whether you are receiving benefits and what type of course you are taking. There is also financial support available depending on your circumstances.

UPDATE April 2012: With immediate effect the following additional benefits have been added to the four eligible benefits for fee remission for adults enrolling on to funded courses:
Carer’s Allowance
Child Benefit
Council Tax Benefit
Disability Living Allowance
Housing Benefit
Severe Disability Allowance
As with the previous four eligible benefits - Employment and Support Allowance, Job Seekers Allowance, Income Support and Incapacity Benefit - learners must sign a self-declaration form stating that they are unemployed and actively seeking work.
