Learn from an award winning songwriter and listen to Britain’s newest street literature talent at Redbridge College this month, as part of Redbridge’s annual Book & Media Festival.

Michelle Escoffery has won an Ivor Novello Award for her song writing, and is well respected in the UK music industry. Michelle has worked alongside legends such as Stevie Wonder, Beverly Knight and Tina Turner.
She will be holding a song writing master class at Redbridge College on Wednesday 22 April between 6.30-9.30pm. Tickets cost just £7 (£5 for Redbridge College students) and places are strictly limited, so book now by calling 020 8708 3044.
Author Von Mozar writes cutting-edge street literature, challenging those who believe books are boring. His first two books, Ignorance Kills and Sexfiend, have sold in their thousands. Von Mozar will be talking
about this book revolution and how he came to play his part in it. He will also be signing copies of his latest book, Little Jamaica.
This event takes place on Tuesday 21 April between 1-3pm at Redbridge College, and is suitable for over 15s only. Admission is free; call 020 8708 2857 for more information, or simply turn up on the day.
The Book & Media Festival runs from 16 April to 3 May 2009, and includes performances, workshops, seminars and cinema for all ages.
