Last Word Records

Last Word Records is Redbridge College’s own record label designed to commercially release recorded works and promote new acts in a range of creative ways. Established in 2008, our aim is to provide artist development and to offer recording and promotional facilities to both our own students and to other external artists. In addition, it gives students the chance to take part in all aspects of running an independent record company.  As a student you will be assigned a job role therefore gaining real hands-on industrial experience - combining your creative input with others could lead to a successful marketing campaign or tour.

The label works in conjunction with Armana Entertainment and Altitude Records to provide real industry experiences which would include Recording Sessions, Artist Development, A&R Activities, Marketing Campaigns and Gigs.

The recording studio facilities are available for hire to schools offering the chance to develop school curriculums within the music field in an industrial context. We are also available for hire to outside artists, providing an opportunity to record their work professionally. We use industry standard software and hardware, such as:
