Personal/group tutorial sessions will include some careers work related to your course. Young people can get individual and group careers advice in College through the Connexions service.

We provide ESOL support for those learners with English as a second or additional language.

Our Learning Assistants can offer extra support to help you succeed.

Learners with Learning Difficulties, Health Problems & Disabilities

The College is committed to equal opportunities and will provide additional support to students with learning difficulties, health problems (including mental health) and disabilities. Please apply early to ensure we can meet any reasonable additional needs.

Our disability coordinator will assess your needs and arrange the appropriate support. For example, if you are deaf or have a hearing impairment, the College will provide you with a Communication Support Worker (CSW) in your lessons.

Students who have learning difficulties can receive support. If required, special examination arrangements can be made. Students with physical disabilities can access all parts of the building via lifts, automatic doors and specialist facilities for wheelchair users including toilets and new shower facilities, which are available on each level.

The College has a Disability Statement which gives full details of the facilities we can offer students.

Literacy & Numeracy Support

For students who require help with Literacy and Numeracy, additional support is available.

Personal Tutors

If you are studying for more than 12 hours per week, your personal tutor will be responsible for supporting you throughout your time at College and will help you with all aspects of your study.
