Course Description

This qualification is designed to provide the knowledge and skills required to enable students to carry out the day to day routines involved in processing computerised financial transactions.

What qualifications do I get?

ABC Level 2 Certificate in Computerised Book-keeping.

How will I be assessed?

A 3 hour externally set question paper marked by ABC.

What standards do I need in order to join the course?

Entry by interview.

What will I study?

You will study:
Setting up accounts in a computerised system,
Computerised bookkeeping to final accounts.

Vocational Study Skills:
16 - 18: You will also study English, Maths and ICT to support your main course.
19+: You may study one of the vocational study skills if appropriate.

What equipment will I need

You will need portfolio/files and the necessary stationery to undertake the coursework and the prescribed textbooks.

Supplementary info

This is a part time professional course which will be delivered at the Ilford Campus.
