The two year Career Academy programme, open to motivated learners aged 16-19 who are studying a Level 3 qualification, mixes a challenging curriculum with real-life experiences designed to inspire young people and help them to reach their potential.
Redbridge College has two Career Academies, in Business and Creative & Media. Being part of a Career Academy gives young people access to:
• A six-week paid internship during the summer holidays
• One-to-one mentoring by business professionals, who provide support and advice on coursework and life skills
• Participation in employer-led seminars and visits to influential organisations
• CV development sessions and practice interviews

Career Academy students aim for the top with ‘inspirational’ London visit
Twenty ambitious Redbridge College students headed to London on Tuesday 29 November for an inspirational day at one of the UK’s most influential organisations.
Redbridge College Career Academies are operated in partnership with Career Academies UK, a registered charity which leads and supports a movement of over 1000 employers and over 120 schools and colleges, working together to raise the aspirations of 16 to 19-year-olds.
Career Academies UK has been independently recognised for its brilliant business and education brokerage and was the first national organisation to receive the Award for Education Business Excellence. Visit the Career Academies UK website at www.careeracademies.org.uk/
