We are a friendly college, which puts the learner at the heart of all that we do. The college celebrates the multi-cultural background of its staff and students and we are proud of the support we offer to learners at all levels.
We are also very proud of our facilities, which are here for your use and include hundreds of computers available for student use, excellent indoor and outdoor sports facilities, a contemporary music suite, a dance studio, gym, well equipped hairdressing and beauty salons and a training restaurant.
What Ofsted said about Redbridge College
The college had its most recent Ofsted inspection in 2010 and the report confirmed that we are a good college with outstanding aspects.

Enrichment
There are a wide range of enrichment activities for all college students. Many of the activities will help you gain a recognised qualification, while others are just good fun. Getting involved in a wide range of skills and interests is an essential part of college life and will also help bolster your CV.
The majority of activities are free and for each activity you will earn points that build towards an Enrichment Diploma. Some of the activities on offer include: basic sign language, basketball, DJ skills, fitness & nutrition, football, psychology, street dance and athletics.
Information Technology
Redbridge College has over 700 PCs and Apple Macs for students to use. Every student at college is given their own email address, with fast internet access and a dedicated network space that is accessible day and night, both on and off campus.
Childcare
There is a children’s centre based at the Chadwell Heath campus, which is run by the London Borough of Redbridge. The centre has 32 places for children aged between three months and five years. The opening hours are 8.45am to 5pm Monday to Friday during term time. Places are available for half days and full days. For more information and fees contact the manager on 020 8597 1616.
Learner Financial Support
We offer confidential, unbiased advice and guidance to students on financial aid including support with childcare costs, Oyster travelcards, Education Maintenance Allowance and the new 16-19 bursary.
Students with learning difficulties, disabilities and health problems
We have a team of Education Support Workers for students with learning difficulties, health problems and disabilities and we have a wide range of support available including special arrangements to help in the classroom and around the college.
Open days
We regularly hold open days/evenings to give you a chance to visit our college and ask tutors lots of questions about any courses you are interested in. Details of our open days/evenings can be found on this website in the Events section.
