Working with children can be one of the most rewarding career choices, and an early years course will give you a great choice of future career paths. You could be working as a nursery assistant in a children's nursery, be a private nanny in an executive household, work in education and teaching or as a child psychologist. Or, if you are business minded you could one day be owning and running your own children's nursery or centre!

At our Redbridge campus, you will be taught by teachers who have worked in the early years sector and are experienced in ensuring you learn all that you need to progress further, whether to continuing education or into employment. Our teachers have high success rates with their students and are rated as outstanding by Ofsted.
We will ensure that our early years courses will give you the knowledge, skills and confidence you need to successfully build a career working with children and/or young people. You will get lots of hands-on training as part of your course.
This course will give you the understanding of the knowledge and skills needed to care for Children. You will learn how to manage and support the needs of children (e.g.nutritional needs,) their learning and development, childrens growth, health and safety and safeguarding.
This qualification develops the skills and knowledge needed to work under supervision with children and their families.
There are a great number of careers available to you once you have gained your early years qualifications. For example this can include:
- Early Years Assistant in a nursery or children's centre
- Pre-School Assistant
- Nursery Assistant
- Nursery Manager
- Private Nanny
- Special Educational Needs Assistant or support worker
- Nursery owner
You can also progress to university and take your interest further and gain a deeper understanding of childhood and children's behaviour for example studying degrees in early childhood studies.
